@Vik:
The "high end people" should care bout pugs, because all the new people who join 'better' guilds (a pug guild playing a month together is 100% as good as the well known guilds, they only need some tactic), were once pugs.
Everyone was a puggy once.

So we all learned fowsc as manlyway, -> adn those of the player who want to inform b4 running, lust check the forums, -> its good to know what kinds of builds are there and which is the best.

This thread is entertaining. Arguing about a bar that could have 1 skill on it and be just as effective. When I MoP I bring MoP and 7 random troll skills because FoW is by far the easiest elite area in GW and its not even serious pals.

>MFW People argue with Piercing when he's been FoW Authority for 2 years. Respect Children. Get a FoW Record before you step.

Going to second Fawxy. Mop bars can be all reduced to 1 skill: Mark of Pain.

Till you land it correctly, you're golden. Obviously 7 other slots call to be filled, so there's the Mop-recharge skipping (AP/AoS), cond removal for spikers in forest (ISAFW/FF), cleanup stuff, utility, res....whatever.

K, go for it. I give you 30 days to pick 7 random people from ToA and have them achieve an 8 minute run. Ill seriously give you my house and everything i own if you pull it off. Which you won't.

I actually learned fowsc during RoJway, sure does show how new you are to the game.

This thread has gone on long enough. Its true that all you need to run the mop role is MoP. If you have 2 VoS dervs, you dont even need that. If you do choose to run MoP, run AP because its far superior to n/p. /thread

WoW.. the Ego of some people ...any run under 20 minutes is a good PUG run. And as others have said... FOW is the easiest speed clear. IF your Guild can do 8 minute runs.. go without consets and P-cons.. so at least some profit can be made from it.

I think you are missing the point slightly, people never do 8min runs to make a profit.

@Piercing, though i doubt he will actually bother, 8min runs rly arent that difficult..

Times aren't a big deal until you have the capacity to set and/or break them.

Edit: but more on topic, Fawx is right and A/P is better and this thread is quickly devolving.

Well compared to some people here in the end-game section i am new to speedclears (started late spring 2009 with usmc and round halloween i started fow'ing).

And yes you are completely right, i won't make it to turn 7 pugs in 30 days into guys who can easily do <10 mins runs.
But to my storry: after some months pugging i joined my first really speedclear guild with which members i am still playing with, and it took ~ 2 months until i had my first 11 min run (was about when DL came up with 10 mins).

I love how most people that play in elite guilds are actually "elite idiot". Not all, but a lot of it.

Reason?

Here it is.

And, pug runs can be fast, doesn't mean every run will suck.

It really depends how you define fast, for "elite idiots" a fast run is <15mins, pugs will never achieve that.

And thats not even with a t3. 14-15 is readily achievable with a standard, pug setup.

@paranon above, you forgot the "7 random pugs" part :> Suddenly, 8 minutes just became impossible.

This thread isn't actually achieving anything now.
